At Border Tours, we understand that travel plans can change unexpectedly. To ensure the best possible experience for our customers, we have established the following cancellation policy:


For most tours, customers may cancel up to 24 hours before the tour start time for a full refund. For cancellations made less than 24 hours before the start time, no refund will be provided.


In some cases, we may offer partial refunds for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the start time due to emergencies such as inclement weather, death of a family member, or health issues. In such cases, customers will need to provide a document or screenshot as proof of the emergency. The amount of the partial refund will be determined by Border Tours on a case-by-case basis.


Addendum to Cancellation Policy for Last Minute Bookings

For bookings made less than 24 hours before the tour start time, there will be no refund provided in case of cancellation. This is because Border Tours will have made every effort to arrange the tour within the limited time available, and may have turned away other customers to accommodate the last minute booking.


Rescheduling Policy

In case of a last minute booking cancellation, customers may reschedule their tour up to one month from the original tour date, subject to a rescheduling fee of $10 USD per person. If the rescheduled tour is more expensive than the original tour, the customer will be responsible for paying the difference. If the rescheduled tour is less expensive than the original tour, the customer will not receive a partial refund for the difference.
